Who we are

reKon audio has been providing professional quality VST synthesizer editors since 2005. It started out with an editor for the Waldorf Pulse and soon afterwards came along many more editors. The idea is to bring the world of music hardware gear back into the realm of the modern day sequencer host. To do this elegantly, and seemlessly within the music production environments of today's musician.. the host sequencer DAW.

What we do

Our initial product line is the VST Editor Series™ for hardware synthesizers. Editors for a wide range of professional synthesizers that allow ultimate control of the sound and preset libraries. Tools that help you create and manage your work flow in the studio and on stage.

Why we are doing it

To bring the revered gear from our past back into our lives and make the new gear easier to implement in our studio. To allow you to control your hardware synths just as you would any other VST soft synth, right along side each other in the same environment... in perfect harmony! As musicians ourselves, we look to today's world of computer-based sequencers and related technology for the tools we need to create and produce high quality music. But, we also realize the importance of the valuable MIDI studio gear we have invested in and worked on for so many years. Many professional musicians believe that their 'old gear' is still superior to the audio quality obtained from a software emulation of the same gear. Secondly, MIDI hardware has it's own sound processing engines and produces this sound as either an analog or digitally recreated waveform.
